Victory over death

Almost all living beings have an intense fear of the unknown. The greatest fear among the unknown being death, lurks heavily in our subconscious.

For one who is born, death is uncertain. Though one may not be able to conquer death, but its fear can certainly be conquered.

There is a ‘mritunjaya’ (victory over death) verse in the Vedas. It is a prayer to our supreme consciousness that just as ripe pumpkin is so gently severed from its tree, similarly release us from the worldly bondages and lead us to liberation

Om traymakam yajamahe sugandhim pushti vardhanam, bandhan mrituyurmukshiya mamritaat

Repeating this verse five times every morning protects and liberates its chanters.
